HEARING DISORDERS IN CHILDREN AND SUBSEQUENT MEDICAL TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION

Hearing disorder or defect bring about disorders in the communication process, therefore an early diagnosis is of key importance for the children´s development and especially for the development of their speech. After the hearing examination, it is necessary to choose a hearing test appropriate for calendar or developmental age of a child. A hearing examination is essential in children with risk anamnesis or in children whose parents or other members of family are suspected of having a hearing disorder or defect.
