We describe a case report of a boy, which had torticollis at the age of 14 months and in which a wrong diagnosis of vertebrogenous
disease was established. The right diagnosis of instraspinal tumour was made at the age of 18 months. The late diagnosis could have
high consequences. Primary instraspinal tumour of cervical spine is a very rare cause of torticollis. We show a differential diagnosis of
possible causes of torticollis in toddlers.
