Kožní mikrobiom u dětí: proč na něj cíleně myslet a jak jej podpořit pre-, pro- a postbiotiky v denní péči

Kožní mikrobiom je aktivní součástí kožní bariéry a časné imunitní regulace - jeho stav přímo ovlivňuje odolnost dětské pokožky vůči patogenům, hydrataci i riziko rozvoje zánětlivých dermatóz. Protože se mikrobiom nejintenzivněji formuje právě v prvních letech života, představuje toto období klíčové okno, ve kterém lze jeho vývoj cíleně podpořit - mimo jiné volbou vhodné kosmetiky s obsahem pre-, pro- a postbiotik. Rostoucí soubor mechanistických i klinických dat ukazuje, že tyto látky reálně podporují bariérovou funkci, potlačují patogenní mikroorganismy a příznivě ovlivňují klinický obraz atopické dermatitidy. Tento text shrnuje důvody, proč by péče o kožní mikrobiom měla být standardní součástí pediatrického poradenství o péči o dětskou pokožku.
