Autoři se zabývají specifickými charakteristikami poruch příjmu potravy v dětském věku a na počátku dospívání. U dětí se tyto poruchy vyskytují méně často než u adolescentů a mladých dospělých (děti pod 12 let tvoří asi 5 % případů), ale představují závažnou komplikaci vývojového procesu na rovině biologické i psychosociální. Autoři dále popisují specifické charakteristiky a syndromy poruch příjmu potravy v dětství a rané adolescenci.

Specification of eating disorders in children and adolescents - diagnostical and therapeutical issues

Paper dials with specific characteristics of eating disorders in childhood and in early adolescence. Eating disorders appear in childhood less frequently than in adolescence and adult age (only about 5% of patients are children below 12 years) but they represent serious challenge to the development process oth at the biological and psychological level. Paper gives specific characteristics and syndromes of eating disorders in childhood and early adolescence.
