Autor předkládá současně platná doporučení v diagnostice nespecifických střevních zánětů u dětí s upozorněním na ne zcela obvyklé příznaky. Důraz je kladen na nezbytnost provedení endoskopického vyšetření trávicího traktu. Zmíněny jsou zásady terapie s vyzdvižením nežádoucích účinků a zdůrazněna nezastupitelná role praktického dětského lékaře v časném odhalení nemoci.

DIAGNOSTICS AND SUBSEQUENT CARE OF CHILDREN WITH INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE

The author presents actual recommendation for diagnosing of an inflammatory bowel disease in children with a focus on untypical signs. The necessity of endoscopy during the diagnostic procedures and the crucial role of general paediatrician in recognition of the beginning of the disease is especially accented. The principles of therapy are mentioned.
