Psychosociální aspekty ošetřovatelské péče v průběhu fyzikálního vyšetřování dítěte

Role dětské sestry se v průběhu let značně změnila. Zvýšily se nároky (na sestru, na vyšetřování, ošetřování), mění se role pacienta (z pasivního konzumenta v aktivního účastníka). Ošetřovatelská péče se aplikuje vzhledem k individuálním potřebám dítěte a ošetřování je vstřícné a aktivní. Nemocné dítě očekává, že sestra pochopí jeho problémy a situaci, zajistí mu pocit bezpečí, jistotu, podporu, stimulaci, bude předvídat komplikace a zabrání jim. Rodina očekává, že sestra bude dítěti pomocníkem, učitelem a obhájcem. Proto by se neměla dopouštět chyb, které by její práci jakkoliv snižovaly. K těmto chybám patří např. to, že nemocného pokládá za objekt a neslyší jeho problémy, chybí jí empatie, je důsledná, ale chladná, nepřístupná, vztahovačná, úzkostná, nervózní, agresivní, ironická-
