The paper presents a comprehensive summary of currently valid legislation for the assessment of medical fitness binding for registering

physicians since January 2014. It is based on the Act 373/2011 Coll., on Specific Health Services, and the Decree 391/2013 Coll., on medical

fitness to physical education and sport.
