Interpretation of serological and molecular biological detections in infections of children

The possibilities of serological and molecular-biological microbiological examination methods, on the one hand, extend the
spectrum of detected pathogens and significantly accelerate pathogen capture, but on the other hand, the interpretation of results
is accompanied by a number of pitfalls. This article tries to describe the basic nature, possibilities and use of the mentioned
methods of detection, taking into account various pitfalls of interpretation.
