From gastroenteritis to pneumonia

Pneumonia is the seventh most common cause of hospitalization in the Czech Republic. The diagnosis is based on a thorough
history, physical examination, laboratory tests, and imaging. The article deals with the case of a four and a half year old female
patient who had initially presented with symptoms of gastroenteritis and was hospitalized for streptococcal pneumonia.
