Epistaxis in children

Epistaxis is a common clinical problem in children, ranging from minor to potentially serious presentations. It may also represent the first manifestation of an underlying disease. This article provides a structured overview of the differential diagnosis of epistaxis, its management, and recommendations for primary care physicians on when to refer a patient to an otorhinolaryngologist or another specialist.
