Chest trauma in childhood is relatively uncommon in clinical practice, and has been the subject of few reports in the literature. Faster and
more detailed diagnosis of thoracic injuries has been achieved by computed tomography. The authors describe a 10-years-old boy who
fell through a glass panel of door. Thoracoscopic surgery reveald minimal haemothorax from the trauma, lung tissue was not damaged.
Shards of glass were removed during a thoracoscopic surgery.
