Význam adherence v léčbě atopické dermatitidy

Atopická dermatitida patří k velmi rozšířeným onemocnění, postihující každou věkovou kategorii. Na úspěšném léčení má podstatný podíl, kromě správně zvolené terapie, i dostatečná míra navozené spolupráce pacienta. Zkušenosti ukazují, že pouze polovina pacientů plní doporučení lékaře dostatečně. Ochota pacienta plnit pokyny lékaře se může odehrávat v několika rovinách. Nejvyšší formou je adherence, která zaručuje nejvyšší stupeň shody mezi lékařem a jeho pacientem. Neochota spolupracovat snižuje léčebný výsledek a zvyšuje náklady zbytečnou změnou medikace a ordinováním dalších zbytečných vyšetření. Autor shrnuje svůj pohled na nutné kroky v tomto směru.

Importance of adherence in treating atopic dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis is a very widespread disease affecting each age category. In addition to choosing the right therapy, establishingan adequate degree of patient compliance plays a substantial role in successful treatment. Experience shows that only half ofpatients comply with the physician’s recommendations. A patient’s willingness to follow the physician’s instructions can occuron several levels. The highest form is adherence which guarantees the highest degree of agreement between physician andpatient. Failure to cooperate reduces the therapeutic outcome and increases the costs due to unnecessary medication changeand ordering further needless tests. The author summarizes his view of the necessary steps in this respect.
