Věřit, že bude zase lépe…

S přáním příjemnějšího roku 2022 zažíváme změnu, kterou způsobila pandemie. Sociální média, která postrádají tradiční mechanismy kontroly kvality, představují velké dilema. Vzdělaní odborníci je využívají k efektivnímu šíření vědeckých poznatků založených na faktech, zatímco miliony lidí je zahlcují nepravdivými informacemi, které zlehčují závažnost onemocnění a význam preventivních opatření, a to zejména ve společnosti s nízkou mírou kritického myšlení a nedostatečnou informační a mediální gramotností. WHO označila toto šíření falešného, nepřesného a zavádějícího obsahu za infodemii. Nebojujeme tak jen s pandemií; bojujeme i s infodemií. Informace ze sociálních médií a soukromých nefiltrovaných sítí se šíří rychleji než virus a mezi lidmi to vede ke spoustě zmatků, paniky a úzkosti...
